Delete your PCOS Pal account and data

Google Play requires every app that lets you create an account to publish this page, so that you can find out how to delete it without installing anything.

In the app

You → tap your name → Delete Account & Data

You will be asked to confirm. It cannot be undone.

What is deleted

Everything, immediately, from both the device and our servers:

• Your account itself, and the email address attached to it
• Your profile, quiz answers and PCOS type
• Cycle and period history
• Symptom, weight, mood, water and supplement logs
• Your streak, XP, badges and PCOS Score history
• Meal plan choices, saved recipes and grocery ticks
• Your profile picture
• Progress photos, which were only ever on your phone — they are never uploaded anywhere

Nothing is retained after deletion, and there is no grace period in which we keep a copy.

The one exception, and how long it lasts

Crash reports are collected by Firebase Crashlytics from release builds. They contain your device model, operating system version, app version and the stack trace of the crash — no health data, no name, no email. Crashlytics deletes them 90 days after they are recorded, and they cannot be traced back to your account once it is gone.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@ichime.dev from the address you signed up with and ask for your account to be deleted. We will confirm when it is done.

Export first, if you want a copy

You → Export My Data produces a JSON file with everything, plus CSV copies of your symptom and weight logs, and hands them to the share sheet so you can save or send them wherever you like. Do this before deleting — afterwards there is nothing left to export.
